Abstract:

The aim of the project is the realization of the batch process control software tool RTbatch and the development of the methodology for successful implementation of batch process control. The business goal of the project is to achieve a technological breakthrough and to conquer the actual market niche in the area of medium-scale batch process control. The technical goals of the project are:

  • the execution of all real-time control functions, including recipes, on the reliable industrial controller environment,
  • achieving a broad domain coverage and a high quality of the solutions by defining and introducing an appropriate conceptual model of recipe-based batch process control,
  • simplifying the projects accomplishment by partly automating their configuration,
  • the definition of a methodology for the development of batch process control systems.
